Henckels International Classic line. Designed with similarities to a wok, the gleaming stainless-steel pan features deep, flared sides and a flat bottom, with a helper handle and long stay-cool handle that curves for better control and comfort. Sandwiched inside the pan's two stainless steel layers is a core of aluminum, which conducts heat evenly and efficiently throughout the pan for superior cooking. The pan may be used on any type of stovetop, and is oven-safe to 500 degrees F. The smooth-bladed santoku knife is made in Spain of fully forged, high-carbon stainless steel, with a triple-riveted, full-tang polypropylene handle for strength. Easily resharpened, the blade cuts very thin slices of meat or seafood, perfect for sushi, and also chops vegetables for stir-fries. Henckels recommends washing the pan and knife by hand, and covers both with a lifetime warranty against defects.
