Description of Henckels Five Star 5-Piece Block Set

Craftsmen forged the blade, bolster, and full tang of each knife with a single sheet of high carbon stainless steel for amplified hygiene, balance, and permanence. Using their patented Sinternal Component Technology, Henckels blended steel for the finest quality, resisting rust, corrosion, and stains. To enhance the blades? initial efficacy, knives are subject to a Friodur ice-hardening process. Laser-controlled sharpness augments the knives? longevity and efficiency. The full tang of each knife is completely enclosed in an unbreakable polypropylene handle, molded for an ergonomically friendly grip. The painted hardwood block provides protective storage for up to eight knives, the sharpening steel, and shears. Sharpen knives regularly at a 20-degree angle on the magnetized and chrome-plated sharpening steel. Though dishwasher- safe, Henckels highly recommends washing knives by hand. Knives should be cleaned immediately following contact with acidic foods like mustard to avoid tarnish. Made in Germany, a lifetime warranty covers the set.
